You can
doubt but it is true. Do you need a proof? I think you need an advice.
Early I
wrote that developers interesting in working hours only. It’s true too. Because
working hours are their money. And developers don’t know something about
ecommerce (may be a little bit). Because they need to write code. Or, in many
cases, googling how to do it. PHP, JS, JQuery, MySQL, dropdowns, ; /> and
other “tech” things.
How it wiil
sell more? Is this be useful for website visitors? What will be when your store
to scale? No matter. The developer write code (in many cases isn’t good code)/
It is bad. Although
developers are writing what they understand your needs on they’s websites. But
if you look their websites you will see what developers can’t develop websites.
Their websites say “This guys don’t know what you really need!”
There are
worse thing. Developers (or SEO, or project manager) can impose their opinion.
Often it is problem for newby e-store owners.
Ofcourse,
in many cases (on common way) you will be satisfaction. But that no reason for
complacency.
What you should
do?
You need to stop be newby. How you can do it? To
put yourself in customer place. To do it always.And you don’t be native. You need to be more critical.
